{"id":389,"date":"2012-05-08T05:48:24","date_gmt":"2012-05-08T05:48:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/?p=389"},"modified":"2014-03-05T20:59:28","modified_gmt":"2014-03-05T20:59:28","slug":"oc-ponies-catalog-qyery-and-argent-qyasar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/?p=389","title":{"rendered":"OC Ponies: Catalog Qyery and Argent Qyasar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I see the purpose of\u00c2\u00a0 OC ponies (personal ones, anyway) as a way of distilling yourself into one purpose, one statement, one talent.\u00c2\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t.\u00c2\u00a0 I needed two.\u00c2\u00a0 I suspect this isn&#8217;t unusual, or it might be related to my bipolar disorder.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, I needed Qyery and Qyasar.<\/p>\n<p>I see Qyery and Qyasar as being twins.\u00c2\u00a0 The relationship is similar to Octavia and Vinyl Scratch: Qyery is very serious, meticulous, and organized, while Qyasar is more free, open, and joyful.\u00c2\u00a0 Even though they are\u00c2\u00a0 so different, I see them as being in harmony, and perfectly supportive of each other.<\/p>\n<p>Catalog Qyery<\/p>\n<p>I love being a cataloger in an academic library.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 It requires complete concentration and meticulous attention to detail.\u00c2\u00a0 Qyery is somepony who appreciates order and quiet (much like Twilight or Rarity).\u00c2\u00a0 She gets a little wearied of Qyasar&#8217;s exuberance, but is calm and happy when things aren&#8217;t chaotic.\u00c2\u00a0 Her cutie mark should be something library related, like a book or a <a title=\"catalog card\" href=\"http:\/\/www.libraryhistorybuff.org\/catalog-cards.htm\">catalog card<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Argent Qyasar<\/p>\n<p>Qyasar is more whimsical; not a crazy loud energy, but just up beat and dreamy.\u00c2\u00a0 I see her magic as controlling gravity.\u00c2\u00a0 Her glasses are sort of a science joke:\u00c2\u00a0 because quasars are formed from a black hole, they can actually appear as two points of light due to the effect of gravity lensing (so, glasses have lenses&#8230; I know, it is a dumb science joke ^_^).\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Quasar\">Quasars<\/a> also emit a bright beam of light and energy.\u00c2\u00a0 I like the contradiction; even though black holes have so much gravity that nothing escapes, quasars emit tremendous amounts of energy.\u00c2\u00a0 Her cutie mark would be something space related.<\/p>\n<p>I made these using the General Zoi Pony generator.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Qyery2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-393\" title=\"Qyery2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Qyery2-300x271.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"271\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Qyery2-300x271.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Qyery2.jpg 342w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/qyasar2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-392\" title=\"qyasar2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/qyasar2-300x279.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"279\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/qyasar2-300x279.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.qyestioneverything.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/qyasar2.jpg 351w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I see the purpose of\u00c2\u00a0 OC ponies (personal ones, anyway) as a way of distilling yourself into one purpose, one statement, one talent.\u00c2\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t.\u00c2\u00a0 I needed two.\u00c2\u00a0 I suspect this isn&#8217;t unusual, or it might be related to my bipolar disorder.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, I needed Qyery and Qyasar.
